Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the local strategy development and implementation for press relations.
- Ensure that the leverage of the specific messages within the Netherlands is in line with the geography´s business and overall marketing strategy.
- Provide expertise in press relations capabilities.
- Be the trusted advisor of the Dutch leadership in the press area (preparing and attending the interviews, media-training them, working on the angles...)
- Manage image development-specific budgets, as directed by the Dutch Marketing & Communications Director.
Relationships:
Reports to: Marketing & Communications Director, the Netherlands. Takes guidance and policy direction from Media & Analysts relations Global Lead

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor´s degree, university degree or equivalent
Work Experience: Minimum of 4-5 years experience in press relations, in PR agencies or corporations
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Strong business acumen and knowledge of our clients area of business and overall business strategy.
- Thorough understanding and skills in press relations. Excellent knowledge of Dutch media and analysts landscape.
- Global perspective and understanding of business marketplace.
- Able to influence executives within the Dutch leadership as well as Marketing & Communications through relationship building and executive-level presence.
- Leadership skills—supervision, mentoring and managing contractors.
- Ability to develop and apply creative, workable solutions to project-related issues.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills in Dutch.
- Ability to work autonomously and independently.
- Ability to manage projects under tight deadlines.
