This job is overall marketing program lead for The Netherlands and will report in to a Geographic Unit Marketing Services Director. Provides oversight of all marketing and communications activities in The Netherlands. The Country Lead will set budgets, oversee location-marketing strategies, and supervise any location marketing resources. The Country Lead will work with the country councils to ensure their support for the company’s positioning and image activities within those markets.
Key Responsibilities:
• Local development of Marketing & Communications activities (campaign, PR, Internal communication, external communications in line with global guidelines) • Ensure local image & recruitment marketing programs are designed according to the strategic priorities of the company, as directed by the Geographic Unit Marketing Services Director. • Build & maintain relevant knowledge and insight into the Consulting, Technology & Outsourcing markets AND Recruitment market. • Processes and manages the Marketing & Communication activities calendar accordingly to the priorities set by the CMD • Processes & manages the (running) annual communications plan (client & Recruitment) according to the priorities set by the CMD • Manages the Marketing team. Optimizes effectiveness/efficiency/engagement and development of the team • Sets requirements for Marketing procurement (materials, consultants, creative) • Establish and develop relationship with Country Managing Director. Brief Country Managing Director on Global Image goals and objectives, as well as on global Corporate Communications issues, as directed by the Partner, Corporate Communications. Work with CMD on local image strategy and programs. • Interface with and influence other key stakeholders in The Netherlands as necessary. • Direct day-to-day location marketing and communications activities and budgets across country. • Ensure location resource coverage and maintain awareness of resource availability, Including interim coverage during vacations, leaves of absences, etc. • Manage local supplier relationships, as directed by Marketing Services Director. • Advise on and provide potential solutions for issue resolution and/or escalation to Marketing Services Director, as necessary. • Oversee performance management and professional development for Marketing Services Marketing & Communications personnel across region. • Facilitate the consistent use of global brand policies and practices at the local level. • Work with Geographic Unit Marketing Services Director to develop GU-wide internal communication’s programs, as required. • Manage and report on local image budget assigned to country/region.

Qualifications:
University degree or equivalent, advanced degree preferred
Minimum of 7-10 years experience in marketing, business development and/or marketing communications roles .
Work Requirements: Ability to travel to multiple markets or locations as needed
