You will have a focus on the automated quality checks of our clients’ software. You are able to adjust and improve the automated framework suite and also to make a test-plan, with test-cases and add them to an automated suite in the ATDD (Acceptance Test Driven Development) way. You execute the automated tests, judge and process the test-results, submit the defects and documents important findings. Your defect reports are written clearly with as much relevant information possible to help developers finding and fixing the defect.
You will work in small iterative cycles and short release cycles. You will interact with product managers, developers and support engineers. With those people you will have the opportunity to co-define or collaborate in the product definition and usability. You are able to extract and discuss with developers and product managers the requirements, functionalities and usability in a crystal clear way.
The service you provide is the last stop for release and defects makes a deadline come in extremely close. Due to the large amount of information you need therefore to pick-up a lot of information quickly and simultaneously work very precise whilst your service for testing can of course not be sloppy. If you think quality is #1, so does our client. Testing is not an afterthought but an integrated part of our clients’ development cycle.
You will be working in a team of 4 testers and report to the Test Team Leader. |
