Our client is a young, fast growing and highly ambitious company developing Virtual and Augmented Reality solutions for 3D data analysis in pharmaceutical and medical applications.

Job Description

As a Senior Software Developer, you are responsible for developing the core components of our client's engine. You solve complex problems in the fields of interactive 3D graphics and physics, image processing, real-time networking, and haptic rendering. Your focus will be on current state of the art hardware (multi-core CPUs and GPUs) for performing compute-intensive tasks at real time. You will own small/midsize projects in which you take responsibility for requirements setup, design, and implementation, and lead a small number (0-2) of junior software developers.

Your ambition as a Senior Software Developer is to deliver outstanding results, both individually as well as with the team. You do not have a 9 to 5 mentality and you are used to working with deadlines.

Requirements

Your profile for the Senior Software Developer position:
• MS in Computer Science, related degree, or strong comparable experience.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, OO principles and common design patterns.
• Strong experience in at least one of the following fields: 3D graphics, interactive dynamics (rigid and soft body, fluids), image processing, computer vision, real-time networking.
• Strong experience with C++. Experience with multi-threaded programming is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills and exceptional character.
