The primary role of the senior product manager is to manage and develop a map product family, its competitiveness and profitability over the product's lifetime: from initiation and introduction through roll out to maturity and finally withdrawal. This is done by planning and implementing a number of continuous and systematic monitoring and development activities to meet present and future demand for our client’s map products. These activities are developed and aligned with our client’s company’s vision, strategy and internal capabilities. The senior product manager also supports marketing activities of the products as well as the sales and marketing activities of channel partners. This is achieved through continued communications with our client’s channel and market players, internal commercial and technical staff.

• The senior product manager develops business cases for new country launches, product features and specifications that will protect and grow our market share: • The business case will consist of Planning, Forecasting, Profit, Competition, Sales channel (market companies, customers, distribution methods, consumers), external considerations (legal constraints and regulations) • Maximise the revenues from existing product portfolios by delivering more efficiency, and looking for new value propositions and functionality from existing components. • Market Analysis • Product Development • Launch and messaging activities supporting our sales, marketing and communications team • Performance monitoring: sales actuals, performance, usage, withdrawals • Support of sales activities with key product presentation, discussions and requirement gathering • Product plan deliverables: tracking to ensure that deliverables are meeting quality, cost and timing benchmarks as defined in the plan. • Leading activities in prioritising, planning and feeding future product plans • Any other relevant activities that management may require

• Bachelor/Master degree with at least 5 years of experience preferably from wireless operators with content experience. Passion for navigation products and affinity with IT. Experience with/within Navigations systems is a must. • Problem solving ability: Develops solutions to a variety of complex problems and challenges. May refer to established precedents and policies. • Demonstrates excellent blend of hands-on execution orientation and strategic in thought process. • Adaptive/responsive - needs to be able adapt/respond quickly to the field in a fast-paced environment. • In-the-middle-of-it-all orientation – Must understand the environment and involved with a great number of stakeholders. Varying from sales, product creation and roll-out in order to develop & implement plans effectively. Messages, programs, etc. must be useable by the field. • Communication skills – Must demonstrate an ability to disseminate information in a concise and clear way and be capable of building good interpersonal relationships. Requires excellent knowledge of English language, other language skills are an advantage. • Influence management – Must be able to work within a complex, matrixed environment, various customers and suppliers. Well-honed influence skills are needed to ensure success • Team Work - Must be able to work as part of a team • Travel – The role of Senior Product Manager requires international traveling
