Projects vary from embedded software development for specific high tech products, capital equipment (industrial, medical, etc.) to complete and integrated solutions. Most of these projects are with industry leaders or with highly innovative companies and working in multidisciplinary teams. Project responsibilities include:
- Depending level, often taking the software lead in one or more new and complex projects.
- Cooperating with customers and stakeholders and agreeing on requirements and specifications;
- Software design, coding (realization) and testing of a system, module or component. Able to oversee the consequences of your design on the architecture;
- Cooperation with hardware designers (mechanical, mechatronics and/or electronics);
- Use measurement equipment to perform product level testing;
- Ensuring documentation for the developed software / hardware;
- Input in planning process and constructive contributions to project teams and departments;
- Structured and well organized way of working and able to add value to colleagues.

In order to fit our assignments, you:
- Have at least a Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering;
- Have work experience as a software engineer for embedded systems;
- Are able to write requirements specifications based on customer input;
- Have strong affinity with hardware;
- Have experience in designing software and experience with OO programming in C, C++, UML, realtime;
- Have a passion for software engineering;
- Are pro-active, quality driven, a team player and you have good communication skills.
