Job Description

As a Hardware Security Engineer on our engineering team, you will work closely with quality, hardware and software engineers, to develop important security and cryptography components of hardware intrinsic security products.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Security of the hardware components;
• Performing of security and threat analysis of components and products
• Responsible for the development of technical/security components ensuring there ready in time according to the required quality;
• Find creative and practical solutions for clients when it comes to implementation of various specs;
• Support the CTO on technical hardware issues with requested or unsolicited insight;
• Project management: planning, monitoring and controlling of progress;
• Involvement on EU projects.

You have experience with

• Good (electrical) engineering background (at university level) with good basic knowledge of mathematics, physics and micro electronics;
• Cryptography and hardware security;
• Smart-card programming and microcontrollers;
• Efficient implementation of Crypto Algorithms;
• Hardware attacks (smart-cards) is a plus;
• Experience with VHDL programming for FPGA and ASIC is a plus
• Additional experience in Verilog is a plus;
• Programming in (embedded) C, C++, C# or assembler.
• Affinity with Software Security, experience with software implementations of Crypto Primitives is a plus.

You possess the following qualities

• Bachelor/Master degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience;

• Professional disposition: able and willing to take responsibility (leadership) for projects which are well planned and achieve a high level of quality;
