As Embedded Processing Field Application Engineer, your role is mainly to provide pre-sales technical support to customers & Sales:
- Is a technical advisor on Embedded Processing product portfolio
- Uses his Embedded Processing expertise together with sales and distributors to convince our customers about the product portfolio
- Maintains and develops technical relationships with the customer
- Identifies and understands opportunities/customer needs and provides appropriate technical solutions (through frequent customer visits) to maximize customer’s success and products sales
- Takes part in the support strategy definition during development phases, from the feasibility concept to production (jointly with Sales and other internal teams)
- Participates to the customer’s system architecture definition
- Promotes and designs IN solutions to customers
Further ensures the Embedded Processing Field Application Engineer a post-sales follow-up to customers:
- Ensures technical assistance to customers during the development phase and help them solve their problem to match production deadlines
Also does the Embedded Processing Field Application Engineer act as interface between Business Units and Field for market trends:
- Collects, formalizes and forwards to BU relevant information received from the markets and customers
- Reports to BU competitive information (offers, products and emerging markets…)
- Proposes and submits new solutions in terms of products, methods, etc. In order to increase efficiency and differentiate on short, mid and long term.
- Report information related to technical and technological trends gathered during customer visits
At last the Embedded Processing Field Application Engineer is responsible for "Customer education" / training and customer events:
- Participates in different promotion events (exhibitions, fairs, seminars, conferences, training, etc.): workshops, presentations, shows etc.
- Involved in the technical content definition
- Propose et recommend events |

* Engineering degree
* >5 years R&D design and/or field application experience in embedded processing technology
* Broad technical culture in Electronics
* Sales experience and spirit
* Strong embedded processing expertise (both SW+HW)
* Analog electronics knowledge is a plus
* Languages: Dutch & English (Fluent) |
