Job description

The Main objective of the role of the Distribution EMEA Product Marketer, is improving the perception, consideration and attitude of channel partners (and their end customers) of our client’s technology, products and solutions by launching compelling marketing programs, sales push initiatives, training and regular communications. Job holder’s contribution will be providing channel partners with timely technology and product information in the respective territories in order for our client to penetrate with compelling solutions into more applications and/or products. The Distribution EMEA Product Marketeer will majority of time position the Standard Products (incl. Logic) at target audience.
The Distribution EMEA Product Marketeer works closely together with the Regional Product Marketeers and drives the successful penetration of a given product portfolio into a specific region and application segment(s). For this the Distribution EMEA Product Marketeer will create a 12 month rolling plan. In order to achieve the results the job holder performs a wide variety of tasks (e.g. creation of value propositions, marketing briefs, training materials, customer visits, participation at events and exhibitions, channel partner initiatives) and is able to quickly change focus as demands and customer needs change
Furthermore, as a company representative, the Distribution EMEA Product Marketeer acts as an advisor in response to customer inquiry and refers information to the appropriate (internal) departments (applications, sales, engineering, marketing etc.).
Also the Distribution EMEA Product Marketeer assists Area Sales and Management with technical evaluation and training of Field Sales Engineers and Field Application Engineers (both internal and external) and makes recommendations regarding formal technical training requirements (working closely together with training manager).
Finally the Distribution EMEA Product Marketeer provides feedback to associated Business Lines on the customer’s, application area, customer segment product and technology requirements and the competitive activity at assigned accounts.

Job requirements

For the Distribution EMEA Product Marketeer position a Bachelor/Master in Electronic Engineering or (related field) is preferred. You have a minimum of 5 years experience in design engineering and/or field application engineering combined with commercial skills and B2B channel experience. (semi-conductor industry)
Also you are able to travel extensively within the EMEA region ; min 50%. Ability to work cohesively and effectively with employees at all levels / departments of the organizations.
As well as the skills above , it goes without saying that for such a pivotal and influential position, you must have a can-do attitude and exceptional communication skills.
